What's you favorite part about working in the hair industry?
Other than my amazing clients, the rockstar stylists I get to work, train, teach with. This Industry humbles me everyday
Favorite trend right now?
Colour is always evolving. Incorporating more than one trend/technique in hair is kinda my thing.
Advice you would give anyone looking to work as a hairstylist?
Assist, Practice, Repeat. Never Stop growing your craft.
One thing you never leave the house without?
Cell, wallet, mascara
What would someone find you doing when you are not working as a hairstylist?
Traveling, Yoga, exploring life with my favorite people
A lesson you learned as a hairstylist?
I learned early on that when you stop taking things personally you gain a great amount of freedom
What makes you come alive?
Doing something for the first time, being uncomfortable(in a good way) feels like I'm growing
Whats something you wish your clients knew/would do before coming to see you?
Don't be afraid to ask questions! I encourage you to have them. The more you ask and know the better our results.
Currently obsessed with?
Hair Painting and my favorite natural colours
Describe your personal style
Modern classic, who doesn't love effortless beauty. Simple and stunning

PATRICK GABRISH

What is your favorite part of working in the hair industry?
It is an art form of it’s own category, the hair is the canvas, your tools are the brushes, and your products/chemicals are the paint or pencils. I grew up painting and drawing, and as a hair stylist I do not have to give up my passion of the arts to make a living and make a difference in someone's’ life.
Favorite trend right now?
I will always love Balayage, and "Natural" highlights. The personalization of color usage and placement can really make a world of a difference. Also, I absolutely love extensions! they can really transform your hair.
Advice you would give anyone looking to work as a hair stylist?
Never give up. It’s hard and taxing, but so fulfilling in the longrun! Also,to never stop learning, no one can ever take your education away from you!
What would someone find you doing when you are not working as a stylist?
I’m normally at the gym, in a yoga class, or diving deeper into the science of hair and hair color. On the weekends you'll find me locally (Norman/okc) at some art event/concert/festival.
A lesson you have learned as a hairstylist?
Our hair is one of our greatest accessories. When we love our hair everything falls into place, and we feel better about ourselves and life!
What makes you come alive?
Making my clients smile, showing them they do have GREAT HAR, and giving them the confidence to hold up their head and shine in this world!
What is something you wish clients knew/would do before coming to see you?
When coloring, clean hair is always best! Also, if you’re not sure what you like, make a list of dislikes. If we atleast know what you don't like that’ll make it easier for the both of us.
Currently Obsessed with?
My most current obsession right now is smoothing treatments. Their quick and painless, and give my clients hair they didn't know they could have! Smoothing treatments aren't just for woman either, hair is a unisex thing. It's for everyone. Be yourself.
Describe your personal style
I’m a chameleon, I wouldn’t say I have a set style. I definitely enjoy wearing a slick dress shirt, tie, and dress pants. Although the next day I could rock some levi’s, boots, and a killer flannel. One thing is, I’m always camera ready.
